Prepared by Steve Lopez. 5 October 2026. This book is the Magnolia yard bid for School's Out only.

The buildup is priced as if Magnolia Yachts in Tuzla, Istanbul were bidding from the Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architects package alone. Quantities are the Design 6346 drawings, the specification, and the 2 October material take-off. Labor on the lines uses the rate card of that date. That card is Issue 15 inventory. It is not a fresh market quote. Aluminum is the published metal price on the measured kilograms. Bought equipment is allowance until a supplier quote. There is no commercial margin line. No capital hold is a ceiling.

Group 900, the tender and two personal watercraft, sits outside the total. It is not zero. Fold-out balconies are inside Group 700. The mechanism, manual or hydraulic, is a request.

Use the pages in order. Read the basis. Open any group to every line under it. Then put the missing quote on its slot. Download the packet when the files are in. Nothing on this page is sent on its own.

Independence

Issue 15 is inventory. Hardness 40.0 stands.

This is the strategy note for the bid, not the Path to 80 board. The board with points and assignees sits under Confidence. The controlling note is the Independence Path note, filed with the Issue 15 notes. This room builds a Magnolia bid from the GCMNA Design 6346 package and from Tuzla market labor, equipment, and materials. Issue 15 classifies the lines. It is not the end state. The loaded rates are not a fresh Istanbul market check. Hardness is 40.0. The evidence index is 36.36. The bar is above 80.

Requested, in short: written overhead, the MAN and ZF quote, glass from measured panes, an interior finish schedule, genset and electrical drawings, the CMC package, drawing 6346-508-02 with the HVAC quote, a wage and goods basis, calculated tonnage and a named flag fee, and sourced market prices on the lines. Firm quotes on the allowance block the checklist already counts, plus tonnage and a flag fee, are what clear 80. Leave the HVAC quote out and the score stops just under 80. The tender and two personal watercraft stay outside the total. A hydraulic balcony, if selected, stays in Group 700 and is not quoted.

Planning figures are withdrawn from this room. They do not move $7,361,076. Hardness 40.0 stands.

Bid confidence

40.0 today

Hardness measures complete bid inputs and market-backed cost. It is not the chance the boat costs $7,361,076. The evidence index is 36.36 and is shown separately. No outside picture is in the score.

40.0Grade D allowances are 94.5% of the buildup. Firm quotes are zero.
10Calculated tonnage is missing. No flag fee is named.
10Overhead, engines, glass, and both escalation lines are still open.

100 minus 40.0 minus 10 minus 10 is 40.0. Grade C aluminum is a market band and does not take the allowance penalty. Clearing 80 takes the request list, including the HVAC quote, plus tonnage and a flag fee. That set is 80.5. Leave HVAC out and it stops at 79.5.

Path to 80

Open a row for the steps, the cited page in the brief or drawing, and any equipment source that belongs to that row only.

The study is 40.0 today. If every open item lands, including the HVAC quote, the score would be 80.5. Without that HVAC point it would be 79.5, which does not clear 80.

This board does not change the study. 40.0 and $7,361,076 stay as filed. Quote exposure on the scored rows is $3,437,792.31. Rows that unlock a quote above show the same dollars only as a reminder.

Evidence index: 36.36. Shown separately from hardness. Do not average the two.

Specification and the bid lines

Equipment

Bought items as the drawing or the specification names them. Where the specification says or equal, confirm the make before the quote. Fold-out balconies are inside Group 700, line 700-070, not owner supply. Manual or hydraulic is still open. Glass bulwarks stay in Group 700. The tender and two personal watercraft stay outside the total.

LineGradeItemLikelyName

Called in the spec. Not a priced line.

Material take-off

Materials

Plate and extrusions from the 2 October take-off. Grade C is the published aluminum price plus a marine conversion on the measured kilograms. It is not a mill quote.

Hours on the Level 4 lines

Labor by trade

Hours on the Level 4 lines, priced on the Tuzla rate card of 2 October 2026. They sit inside the buildup, not on top of it, and they are not a timesheet.

TradeLinesHoursUSD / hourLabor

Called by the spec. No hours of its own.

Composite laminating. The specification allows E-glass, foam core, and vinylester. This buildup has no laminator trade and no hours for it. That labor is a request until Magnolia says whether any part is composite. Every other trade the specification implies is on the Tuzla rate card: aluminum welding, pipe, mechanics, electrical, joinery, upholstery, paint, deck outfit, general labor, yard engineering, and project management.

Allowance against a firm quote

What is firm, and what is not.

The quote register is empty on purpose. Grade A and grade B are zero. A market band is not a quote.

Propulsion drawing 6346-302-01 is marked for pricing. The MAN and ZF dollars stay allowance until that quote is in the checklist. Line 700-070 stays an allowance until Magnolia states manual or hydraulic and returns a quote inside Group 700.

What is missing

The list that clears 80

Firm quotes on $3,437,792 of today's allowance, plus calculated tonnage and a named flag fee, land at 80.5. Leave the HVAC quote out and the score stops at 79.5. The tender and two personal watercraft stay outside the total and do not move the score. Fold-out balconies stay inside Group 700, and the mechanism is one of the requests.

Files stay in this browser until you download the packet. They are not uploaded from this page.

Dropbox. No file request is open on this book yet. Paste one if Magnolia or GCMNA opens it. The folder names in the packet match the slots below.

Still open, and not the path to 80: no construction agreement and no payment schedule; fuel, fresh water, waste, and fire schematics have not been issued yet; freeboard is not on the drawings; lithium is not priced; VAT treatment is unconfirmed. The tender and two personal watercraft stay outside the total. The balconies stay in the Magnolia quote under Group 700.
